Tootie Snoots is Adopted!

Tootie Snoots has been adopted!

Tootie Snoots came to LCHS at just 3 days old after his 9 siblings had died. Tootie Snoots was very sick and required around the clock care for several days. Dr. Figlio and Dr. Moser of Paws & Claws Veterinary Hospital took time out of their weekend to research his immediate medical needs and see to it that he received the medications that he required to overcome a highly contagious bacterial infection and a serious intestinal parasite infestation.

After 8 weeks of care, the feisty pot belly pig was neutered at Buck Lake Animal Hospital by Dr. Varela. Tootie Snoots made it known that skipping breakfast and undergoing a surgical procedure first thing in the morning were not high on his list of “likes”. He had been dropped off at the clinic at 7:30 and by 10:00 in the morning we were called to pick up our squealing patient.

While many people inquired about Tootie Snoots, it took patience to find the right home for him. After teaching many visitors about the smart, stubborn, and fun personalities of pigs, Tootie Snoots stole the hearts of his adopters.

Tootie Snoots (now Angus McPig) will continue living as an indoor pet while enjoying the luxury of having a farm to run and sun on. He shares his home with 3 labs, 2 cats, and 4 goats all of whom are still trying to figure out their newest family member.
