2nd Annual Kitty Glitter A Fabulous Success

LCHS’s annual fundraising event, Kitty Glitter, was a tremendous success. The event, held on April 21st at Goodwood Museum and Gardens, welcomed Tallahassee’s most fashionable animal lovers to take part in a Silent Auction, Fashion Show, and Raffle, all for the benefit of Leon County’s homeless pets.

LCHS is proud to announce that the event earned nearly $20,000 for homeless pets! All proceeds from Kitty Glitter support animal care and program expenses for LCHS' adoptable pets. Countless animals’ lives will be enhanced by the success of Kitty Glitter.

LCHS is so grateful to all who were involved and helped make Kitty Glitter a tremendous success. The event was made possible entirely through the hard work of dedicated volunteers and the generosity of all those local individuals and businesses that donated items for this important cause.

LCHS would also like to extend a huge thank you to all of our event sponsors, especially Mainline Information Systems, Tallahassee Magazine, and WCTV. We wouls also like to thank our Fashion Show sponsors, Narcissus, Spriggs, fab'rik, and most especially, Marsha Doll of Marsha Doll Models. This fabulous evening of shopping and saving lives would not have been possible without our sponsors' generosity and support.

Kitty Glitter Fundraiser

Just took a look at your photos of the event. How nicely this was done. I donated photography about 10 years ago for silent auctions. You have come a long way since I remember going to the event at the Senior Center many years ago. Keep up the good work. Feel free to email me when your next fundraiser event is and I will see what I have available to donate if you like my work. Glad this event raised so much money.
