Meet Our New Volunteer Coordinator

Everyone here at the LCHS office is thrilled to welcome Joann Andersen as our new Volunteer Coordinator!

Joann has been a fixture in the Tallahassee community for many years, and began fostering dogs for LCHS in 2010. She and her husband Tripp quickly became one of our Dog Foster Program's most reliable parents.

As a volunteer moving into the Volunteer Coordinator position, she has a unique perspective on organizing the more than 10,000 volunteer hours donated to LCHS every year! A natural "people person" with a background in education, Joann was the purr-fect choice to take over the care and management of our over 250 hard-working volunteers.

Howls and Meows for Joann joining our team (especially the staff dogs, who find her to be a reliable source of treats!).
