Interested in volunteering with the Leon County Humane Society's Dog Wash Fundraisers?
Dog Washes are held every 2nd Saturday from April- October in LCHS' shady backyard from 10:00AM- 2:00PM. 60+ Volunteers are needed per day to help wash/ dry, flea dip and FURminate 120+ dirty dogs per event! If you LOVE DOGS, enjoy being outdoors, and getting down and dirty then this fast paced event is for you!
Unlike our other volunteer opportunities, Dog Washes are open to the public (those 12 years of age and older) and do not require an orientation. Our highest need for volunteer assistance at our Dog Washes are between the months of May- August (when school is out of session).

I am a disabled veteran that went through a bone marrow process, Heart catheration, -and on dialysis. Although we have these medical issues we'd like to donate time to help. I also have two dogs that I need to donate as the doctor ordered these away from me due to my skin softness. I would gladly trade some time and donate some money to help where I can and move my dogs.
How do I sign up?
