Six weeks ago, seven one-week-old puppies were tied up in a plastic shopping bag and left in a ditch to die. But they didn't die. Instead, just a few days before Christmas, a good Samaritan found the puppies, recently abandoned in 30 degree weather and contacted the authorities, who called LCHS. Watch the news story »
We are thrilled to report that these babies are now happy, healthy and ready for adoption. If you have been thinking about adding a four-legged friend to your family, consider the Reindeer Puppies!
The Reindeer Puppies are hound mixes, which means they will grow to be medium or large size dogs with big voices and lots of energy. They will do best in a home with a large fenced area and plenty of space to play. They get along well with other dogs, cats and children. They are currently about seven weeks old, spayed or neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations and free of heartworms. Their adoption fee is $250. Rudolph, Comet, Cupid & Donner have found their new forever homes.
If you are interested in adopting one of these adorable babies, you may fill out an adoption questionnaire here.

Meet Vixen, she is an adorable, playful hound mix that loves to explore, plays well with other dogs and likes to cuddle when she settles down to rest. She will be a great companion for an active single person or family with children!
Meet Dancer, she is a michievous little missy. She loves to explore, but after she finishes, she wants to cuddle in your arms and give you kisses.
Meet Dasher, he bonds hard and fast with his person. He is friendly to everyone, but absolutely ADORES his person.

I think Vixen is so cute I have a black lab full grown
But he pays rough with my husband I feel he is lonely in the day time and we have a fenced in yard but don't know how he would react to a new puppy. He was a stray some one dropped off at my house with a broken leg dragging a chain and no tags people at whispering pines said the owners left -moved out and left the dog changed with no food or water. so now he is a part of our family he is kind of timmed and you can tell he was abused, but we love him and he seems to be happy with us. I would like to take him to an obedent school do you know of one I could take Buddy to for some basic training? If you get time ans. I know you are all busy there, I donate when I can and take blankets and dog beds and cat beds to you when I can. Love,Judy
Thanks for saving these puppys.
