Youth Donors

A compassionate heart has no age limit

It's never to early to start helping the foster animals of LCHS! Here's a few ideas to get you started. And don't forget, if you are 13-17, you can apply to our Junior Volunteer Program or Student Volunteer Program.

Birthday Parties

Have a party for your birthday and ask family and friends to bring pet items instead of gifts for you. After the party, please call the office at (850) 224-9193 to arrange a time for you to drop off your presents and take a photo!

Bake Sale

Hold a bake sale with people food and/or animal food. Or you could open a lemonade stand!

pet food and supply drive at your school

Make posters announcing when the drive will be held, how food will be collected, and which organization benefit from the event. Once perweek, have members from the class take a decorated wagon around to pick up donations. Have students keep a graph of their progress and announce final results to the whole school. This project can also be done with a neighborhood, church group or scouting troop. Use our wish list as a guide.

Penny or Nickel Drive

Put a container in your classroom and ask your friends and classmates to bring in their pennies. Nickels and pennies really do add up!
